Medieval
Leg Shackles

These functional leg shackles were modeled from those used in the Clink Prison of London England. The "Clink" used shackles for confinement and as a deterrent to escape. The ring keeps the ball from rolling causing a prisoner to drag instead of roll the ball, slowing their escape. Our leg shackles are a heavy hand made replica quite accurate in style and functionality to the original.

A blackened heavy iron ball is encased by a solid ring and bars which attaches to a large ring and chain. This chain is securely attached to a hinged iron leg shackle that can be shut and secured by a lock. This is a must for any serious collector of dungeon and confinement pieces from the middle ages through the Renaissance. Weighs over 16 pounds and extends over 40". Functional!
